Who is Rodent Control Oxford?
Rodent Control Oxford is an independent, locally run pest control company in Oxford, Mississippi that handles one thing: rats, mice and the gaps they use to get in. We serve Oxford (38655), University (38677), Taylor (38673), Abbeville (38601), Paris (38949) and rural Lafayette County. Our method is the same on every job: inspect the whole house, seal every entry point with metal, trap the rodents already inside, and confirm the job with a full quiet week. Every price goes in writing before work starts. Our office is at 2128 Jackson Ave W, Oxford, MS 38655, and our phone is (662) 208-6880.
Why rodents only
Why we only do rodents
Because nobody else around here does.
Before we started, we read every Google review we could find for the pest companies serving Oxford and nearby counties. Almost none of them talked about rodents. The companies around here are built for sprays, ants and termites, and rodents get handled as an add-on with a bait box.
Rodents are a different job. They need someone who will climb the roofline, crawl under the house, find a 1/4 inch gap behind a stove, and seal it with metal. That is the only work we do, so it is the work we are best at.
What we believe
What we believe about rodent control
Six rules we run the business by.
Seal first, then trap
Trapping without sealing just makes room for the next rodents. We close every entry point with metal on every job.
Prices in writing
You see the full price and scope before we start. No surprise line items, no “we found more” after the fact without your say-so.
Jobs that end
No long contracts and no billing month after month while the noises carry on. The job ends with a quiet week.
Show the work
Before and after photos of every entry point, so you can check what we did with your own eyes.
Straight answers
If it sounds like squirrels or a raccoon, we say so on the phone. If it is not a job for us, we tell you who to call.
Safe around families
Snap traps out of reach inside, locked stations outside, and product labels in writing whenever bait is used. More on pet-safe rodent control.
How we work
How we work, start to finish
The same four stages on every house, in the same order.
Inspect
Roofline to crawl space. We identify the species and number every entry point.
Seal
Hardware cloth, flashing, copper mesh, mortar and door sweeps. Never foam alone.
Trap
Snap traps along the runs inside, checked and reset on a schedule.
Confirm
Following CDC guidance, done means a full week with no catches and no fresh droppings.

Our standard
What we promise, and what we refuse to do
Our whole service is built on what customers praised and what they hated.
What we promise
- You will know your technician by name.
- Everything explained before anything is touched.
- On time, with a text before we arrive.
- The same technician on every visit, start to finish.
- The price in writing before work starts.
What we refuse to do
- No billing you month after month while the noises continue.
- No unreturned calls. You reach a person, not a queue.
- No contracts that will not die. Cancel in one sentence.
- No surprises on the bill.
- No fake or bought reviews, ever.
These came straight out of the reviews we read. Five-star reviews almost always named the technician and said he explained everything. One-star reviews blamed missed visits, surprise bills and contracts nobody could cancel. We built the company around that pattern.

Our sources
Where our information comes from
No guessing, no copied claims, no invented reviews.
Every fact on this site comes from a source you can check. Rodent biology and control standards follow Mississippi State University Extension and the CDC. Price ranges are labeled benchmarks from national cost data, never made-up quotes.
Local facts, like the first frost date, housing ages and storm history, come from NOAA normals, the U.S. Census, the University of Mississippi and local news, and every page lists its sources at the bottom with a last-reviewed date.
We will never publish a review, a testimonial or a before-and-after photo that is not real. Where we show illustrations, we label them as illustrations.
